Reaper keeps crashing after being idle for a while

I noticed this is the previous version but thought I'd update first to see if it still happens and it is (using latest release). Basically, if I leave Reaper open but unattended and idle for while, say 20-30 minutes so there's no activity, Reaper just crashes after a certain amount of time. This has happened now about 10 times over the last month. It just happened now and all that I had loaded was an MP4 movie file and one instance of Omnisphere. Other times, Omnisphere hasn't been loaded so I'm sure it's not Omnisphere but I think there's always been a movie file loaded, so it could be something to do with loaded films? Cheers.

Please post crash logs as described here: Apart from that, check your power saving settings in whatever your OS is, and in the BIOS if you have a PC.

Hi here is the Reaper crash log from Event Viewer. Seems to be the Reaper_video.dll file which chimes with what I suspected. Power settings are fine and on a customised High Performance mode which means nothing ever goes to sleep when unattended. Cheers

Thanks for the report! One more question: any chance that a screen saver is kicking in after that time?

Hi, I do have a screensaver that kicks in after half an hour but I don't think it is that because I just reduced the time it takes for it to appear to 1 minute and Reaper never crashed either time it came on. Thanks.

I'm still getting these crashes with latest version.

It's also crashing after long idles for me! :\ But then again... could totally be caused by plugins.
